I recently came across the work of illustrator Keith Carter at the Pony Club as I made my way around First Thursdays in Portland (OR). I first noticed a zine of his work and the range of lines and details that make it stand out from normal zine art. As I made my way around the gallery, I found a shirt of his "Bird Fight" print an decided to ask the gallery attendant if there was more. It turns out, Keith was the guy I was talking to and we got into a conversation about his art and traded info. The use of color and quality draftsmenship was enough to prompt me to feature him on The Double Truth. Check out his work below and support the artists in your small world.
