The NYC-based musician and visual artist named Oveck has recently amassed an interesting collection of photos from his mobile phone, with which a medium that has historically been lame by most measures, and pushed into a fine art. He combines different elements in his visual work that include moody, darker themes, and sometimes surrealist qualities using landscapes and figures. Though not all of his photography is done with his mobile phone and he does use proper, traditional cameras, the bulk of his output is rife with album cover worthy pics and though I haven't listened to his music, hopefully hints at the quality of his other crafts.
